  • 1.  Creation of Taskforce to Propose Familial Relationship Elements for RDA

    At ALA Annual we agreed to establish a taskforce with the following charge:

    Submit a proposal to address familial relationships in RDA by establishing new relationship elements.

    The taskforce will need to be chaired by a CC:DA member but anyone is welcome to join the taskforce. Please email me if you would like to chair or serve on this taskforce.

    The taskforce will need to submit a preliminary report to CC:DA by the Midwinter Meeting. For further information please see the previous discussion in the CC:DA Public Space discussion thread titled: familial relationships in RDA

    This taskforce has been formed and will be chaired by Tammy Druash. Other members include:

    • Iman Dagher
    • Amanda Xu
    • Rachel Maxwell
    • Jessica Grzegorski

    If you would still like to participate please let me know ASAP so you can join the taskforce at the beginning of their work. Thank you to all the volunteers and we look forward to your recommendations.
