    Hi all -

This is Core Week -- there are several different sessions each day for you to sign up for or share. All sessions are free and open  to anyone.

Here's the link to the Core Site: 2026 Core Interest Group Week | Core

The Collection Evaluation and Assessment IG will have a session during our normal coffee talk time - Friday 3/6 at 12 CST.

The week will be run a little bit differently than in years past, the events are run through a Zoom hub and people will enter the lobby before each session.

Please join us for and open discussion about how artificial intelligence and LLMs are impacting collection work. Potential topics include:

    • Vendor developed and database integrated AI helpers/assistants (how to use/when to turn on), impact to usage, requests vs. investigation trends due to AI use
    • License agreements / LLM use / navigating financial impacts
    • AI use for collection evaluations
    • AI impact on COUNTER and publisher usage reports

We are looking forward to seeing you at the session or any other Core Week event.
