The Core Access & Equity Section is looking for panelists to contribute to our ALA panel entitled "Values-Driven Workflows: How Are We Implementing DEI in Routine Work and Policies?"
More universities and other educational and cultural heritage institutions are developing strategic plans to support initiatives intending to achieve more diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. How are managers and other library leaders implementing these initiatives?
We are seeking panelists to discuss current working practices, policies, and procedures that they have planned and/or implemented. Panelists may consider presenting on these topics:
Format: 60 minute panel, 3 presenters, with each presenter receiving 15 minutes to address their topic of choice.
Combined 15 minute Q&A, moderated by Core Access & Equity Section member.

Applicants will be notified by: Feb 16, 2024
Please note:
First time presenters are encouraged to submit! And you do not need to be a Core or ALA member to submit -- please forward to any non-Core/ALA members who may be interested!

Registration to ALA Annual will be reduced to half the rate for scheduled speakers.

Core will host Division, networking, and leadership events that will be of interest to library workers who would like to expand their national contacts and professional development opportunities.
