CD policy around cost sharing ebook purchases with departments

    We're looking at our collection policy around requested ebooks, specifically textbooks. We have a very small budget for ebooks in total, so we'd like to come up with some way of cost sharing the purchase price with the requesting department.
    Does anyone have any CD policy piece that talks about cost sharing, purchases of textbooks, and/or purchase of ebooks in general? We're hoping to find what other academic libraries are doing in this regard when the requests come in for 20 textbooks and our budget covers maybe one or two of those.
