    Greetings, CORE community,

Are you looking for an "invaluable" and "thoroughly rewarding" professional development project that can improve your collection asessment and development skills?

Resources for College Libraries (RCL),  the Choice/ACRL core title list for undergraduate teaching and research, seeks experienced library selectors, collection strategists, and faculty to serve as peer reviewers in the arts and humanities disciplines (including world languages and literatures).

Reviewers are tasked with assessing the subject collection comprehensively, providing feedback and recommendations for editorial improvement. Peer reviewers assess how well the RCL subject bibliography supports the college curriculum and academic libraries, including considerations centered on diverse publishers, emerging scholarship, and historically underrepresented voices or perspectives. The RCL peer review is a one-time professional service opportunity that strengthens collection assessment skills, builds subject expertise, and supports local projects. See the full subject list and FAQs

How to Apply: Submit a current CV and a brief description of your qualifications, particularly developing or evaluating core collections and/or teaching in the subject area to Anne Doherty, RCL Project Editor. Preference will be given to those who apply by May 15, 2026
