The ALA Core Linked Data Interest Group (LDIG) seeks proposals for its meeting during the Core Interest Group Week, March 4-8. LDIG facilitates active conversation among librarians and information professionals to discuss projects, ideas, and practical use cases related to library linked data.
The LDIG session will take place on Wednesday, March 6th at 1:00 PM CT.
We welcome proposals that show the use of linked data in library workflows or linked data use cases in the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) community. Possible scenarios include innovative linked data projects and other projects related to non-library linked data sources, e.g. Wikidata, DBpedia, etc. Presentations should be no more than 15 minutes in length including brief time for Q&A. Presenters must be available at the LDIG session time.
Please fill out the submission form to send your presentation proposal to the LDIG co-chairs.
The deadline for proposal submissions is Friday, February 2, 2023. The notification about the decisions will be sent out by Friday, February 9, 2023.
We look forward to hearing from you!
