The ALA Core Technical Services Workflow Efficiency Interest Group (TSWEIG) would like to invite you to submit a presentation proposal for the 2023 ALA Core IG Week, March 6-10. The IG's session will be held online on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 11-12 am (CST).
The IG will be discussing workflow trends and cases related to a variety of topics and welcomes your proposal.
Theme: Hybrid Workspaces and Digital Workflows
Possible topics could include (but are not limited to):
- The long-term impact of hybrid work schedules on Technical Services workflows
- How Technical Services embraces LOD and its impact on workflows
- DEI cataloging and workflows in Technical Services
- Establishing workflows in traditional ILS or digital repositories
- The impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on Technical Services workflows
Each presenter will be allotted 15 minutes (full presentation) or 5-10 minutes (light presentation). Please include in your proposal the following information:
- Presentation title
- Presenter name(s), affiliation & email(s)
- A brief (250 words or less) summary of the topic
- Time needed to present the topic
