Purpose: Provides a forum for researching potential applications of Machine and Deep Learning in library science, including discussions, publications, and outreach to the wider Library community. Its goal is to educate librarians on uses of the complex techniques of machine learning and to provide a space for critically thinking both about new applications, and about the ethical and social impact of these technologies , as the field rapidly expands in the coming decade.

    International Journal on Digital Libraries is calling for papers for a special issue Exploring Next-Generation User Experiences in Digital Libraries: 

    The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
    1. Immersive User Experiences
    2. Natural Language Interfaces
    3. Multi-Modal Interaction
    4. Interactive Information Retrieval
    5. Context-Aware Interfaces
    6. Emotion-Aware Interfaces
    7. Social and Collaborative Features
    8. Personalized Information Retrieval
    9. Interactive Data Visualization
    10. Usability Evaluation and User-Centred Design
    11. Accessibility and Inclusive Design

    To submit your manuscript, kindly ensure that it complies with the guidelines for authors provided on the online submission page of the International Journal on Digital Libraries, which can be accessed at https://www.springer.com/journal/799/submission-guidelines. Once submitted, your manuscript will undergo a rigorous peer-review process in accordance with the IJDL reviewing procedure.
