Call for expert nomination for ISO 25964-1, Thesauri and interoperability with other vocabularies - Part 1: Thesauri for information retrieval

  • 1.  Call for expert nomination for ISO 25964-1, Thesauri and interoperability with other vocabularies - Part 1: Thesauri for information retrieval

    Posted Dec 05, 2022 04:21 PM

ISO 25964-1, Thesauri and interoperability with other vocabularies - Part 1: Thesauri for information retrieval, was part of the systematic reviews earlier this year. ISO took the decision to confirm the standard, even though there were some member countries that recommended revision. ISO TC 46/SC 9 was asked to reconsider this decision in light of the recommendations to revise the standard. If a project leader and experts are identified, the TC 46/SC 9 leadership agrees to initiate a revision of ISO 25964-1.

Please contact Yuji Tosaka (tosaka@tcnj.edu) if you are interested in serving as a project leader for the revision work. A full copy of the current standard is available upon request.

Expert nomination is requested by Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
