    The CORE Copy Cataloging Interest Group seeks two volunteers to serve as vice co-chairs for one year (2022-2023), transitioning into co-chairs the next year (2023-2024). Our charge is to discuss common problems concerning copy cataloging, including:

    1. Quality control
    2. Work-flows,
    3. Copy cataloging of all kinds of materials (monographs, serials, audiovisuals, etc.)
    4. Staffing needs and training
    5. Effects of changes in cataloging rules.

    As vice co-chair, you will assist with the planning and delivery of the Group's meetings, including solicitation for speakers and selection of topics to be presented. As co-chair, you will assume full responsibility for planning the meetings, filing reports to ALA, and selecting incoming vice co-chairs. You may be required to attend the in-person 2023 and 2024 Annual Conference of ALA and be able to organize and attend CORE's Virtual IG week. No prior experience is necessary. *CORE membership required.
