--- With apologies for cross-posting ---

The Core Bibliographic Conceptual Modeling Interest Group (BCMIG) is seeking two co-Chairs for 2023-2025 (one year (2023-2024) as co-Vice-Chairs and one year (2024-2025 as co-Chairs). The purpose of the BCMIG is to provide a forum for the discussion of bibliographic conceptual models that serve as the basis for current cataloging standards and are expected to provide a foundation for future cataloging standards in a Linked Open Data environment, addressing both the theoretical bases of such models and their implementation in practice. If you are interested in the theoretical basis for, and practical application of, bibliographic conceptual models, please consider becoming a BCMIG co-Chair!

As co-Chair of BCMIG, you are expected to attend both the Midwinter Virtual IG Week meeting and a summer session of BCMIG, and to participate in session planning and delivery. The co-Chair learns by working with the existing co-Chairs, so no prior experience is necessary. Your term would begin in September 2023

If you are interested, please send your name, title, and related experience to: Thomas Dousa (tmdousa@uchicago.edu)and Daniel Lovins (daniel.lovins@yale.edu)

We look forward to hearing from you!
