Brief Survey on Institutional Repositories and AI

  • 1.  Brief Survey on Institutional Repositories and AI

    Posted Apr 08, 2025 02:04 PM

    Dear Colleagues,

I 'm conducting a study on how institutional repositories (IRs) are responding to AI, including their acceptance of AI-assisted works, measures to address AI's use of IR content, stakeholder concerns, and perspectives on AI's impact on IR management and engagement.

If you  work with a U.S.-based institutional repository (IR)-whether you manage it, provide support (e.g., technical support, metadata, scholarly communication, research data services, outreach, digital preservation), or oversee IR-related decisions at a departmental or institutional level-I would greatly appreciate your anonymous participation in this survey, which has 14 multiple-choice questions (or fewer, depending on responses) and takes approximately 12-1 4 minutes to complete.

Please access the survey at this link: https://appstate.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_77NfILGzhoQOHT8

Participation is voluntary and anonymous. Data will be reported in aggregate forms in any presentations or publications that result from this study, which has been determined exempt from IRB oversight. More details are provided at the start of the survey.

Many thanks in advance for your time and for sharing your insights!

    Please excuse cross-postings.

    Sincerely,

    Ashlea Green
