After many years of outstanding service as Chair of the ALA-Core Ebooks Interest Group, Michael Blackwell has stepped back. HUGE thanks to Michael for all of his work and his ongoing leadership of ReadersFirst. For the coming year I will be serving as Chair, along with Ellen Paul , who will be our Co-Chair.
This year, we plan to make ALA Ebooks Friday bigger and better than ever, and we also hope to have coffee and snacks. Beyond that, Ellen and I are wondering what other things this community would like to see the Ebooks Interest Group do to support connection, information sharing, and ultimately help libraries provide critical access to digital books.
