All ALA Annual attendees are invited to join a meeting of the Core Consortium Management Interest Group. You'll hear 3 short presentations about topics that are relevant to library consortia and member libraries alike. There will be opportunities for discussion and questions throughout the session.

Consortial Trends - how library consortia are shifting activities and structures in response to evolving member needs and the library and higher ed landscapes. Speaker: Michael Rodriguez, Senior Strategist, Content & Scholarly Communication Initiatives, Lyrasis.

Consortial Value - how library consortia can more effectively demonstrate the value they bring to their member libraries and the communities they serve. Speaker: Hannah Rosen, Director of Strategic Purchasing & Professional Development, OhioNet.

Consortial Leadership - how library and consortia leaders can learn from one another and collaborate more effectively. Speaker: Anne Osterman, Dean of Libraries at George Mason University and former Director of VIVA, Viginia's academic library consortium.
