Hi all,
As summer's just about done I wanted to share out a resource that that my colleagues at ISKME and UVA Libraries have been working on, the AI & OER Community Hub on OER Commons.
The hub contains 28 collections of 564 openly licensed resources (and growing), sorted into 5 buckets:
- AI Basics/AI 101
- AI & Teaching Practice
- Ethics & Law
- K-12 Resources
- Higher Education Resources
- Professional Development
The collections contain resources that teach about AI, as well as resources that teach with AI, across all levels (including PD for educators, library staff, and administrators).
The hub also has an events calendar that's updated regularly with events related to AI & Education which anyone can submit items to for inclusion, and we just added groups corresponding to the buckets mentioned above where folks will be able to share resources and engage with others. In addition, we have a link to a shared Zotero bibliography covering AI in Open Education that folks are welcome to read through and contribute to.
This project was originally funded through the generous support of an IMLS National Leadership Grant, and we're grateful for what we got from that.
I'm happy to answer any questions that might come up, please do feel free to reach out or drop a note in this thread!
