About this Group

Purpose: Dedicated to quantitative measures based on commonly defined data; managing information resources and developing institutional benchmarking; explores, develops, and promotes the use of both descriptive data and outcomes/impacts data.

This interest group is part of Core's Preservation Section.

  • 1.  Collection Evaluation & Assessment Virtual Coffee Talk

    Hi Everyone,

    We'd like to try something new:  a CORE Collection Evaluation & Assessment IG Monthly Coffee Talk. 

     

    Bring your questions, ideas, curiosity and favorite beverage to our monthly collections virtual coffee talk. This will be an informal, drop-in forum for us to talk shop, delve into what's on our minds regarding collection assessment, make connections and learn from one another.  All are welcome! 

     

    When: First Friday of Every Month from 1:30 – 2:30 (Central Time).  The first Coffee Talk will be this Friday, December 3rd.

    Where: CORE Zoom mtg. room but you must register in advance using this link: https://ala-events.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJctde6orz8vGdZqibvmo523tR85ZY8l62YU.  After registration you will receive a confirmation and link to the Zoom mtg.

     

    Also, just as a reminder, we invite you to participate in a brief survey (1-2 minutes) to help us plan for future programming for this Interest Group.  The survey asks which topics you want to learn more about, and on which topics you would feel comfortable providing mentorship or guidance to colleagues. Your responses are much appreciated as we work to provide helpful and timely programming for you all.
