Linked Library Data Interest Group Midwinter 2013 schedule

  • 1.  Linked Library Data Interest Group Midwinter 2013 schedule

    Posted Dec 27, 2012 01:18 PM

At Midwinter 2013, the LITA/ALCTS Linked Library Data Interest Group managed discussion will occur as originally scheduled. This discussion is scheduled for Sunday, January 27 at 10:30-11:30 AM.

We have also added a business meeting for our IG. This meeting will occur on Saturday, January 26 at 10:30-11:30. All are welcome. However it is worth noting that our table will have limited seating (we have a roundtable for 10).

Near the beginning of this month we sent a proposal (via our IG listserv) to cancel the Sunday Jan. 27 managed discussion (due to the simultaneous session being offered by Library of Congress concerning the Bibliographic Framework Transition Initiative -- which we assumed many of our members would want to attend). We received enough interest however in going forward with the discussion to justify its occurrence as originally scheduled.

We have gotten a confirmation from the Learning Linked Data Project (http://lld.ischool.uw.edu/wp/About/) that they can send David Talley to open the managed discussion. We hope you can attend.

More details will be sent out soon.
