    This may be of interest to the preservation community:

     

    Core is seeking nominations for IFLA standing committees for the term 2021-2025, including for the Preservation/Conservation section. The deadline to complete the nomination form is Monday, December 7th.

    The ALA International Relations Committee (IRC) is requesting nominations from Core for representatives to International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) section standing committees, for the term 2021-2025.  

    Core may nominate representatives to the following Section Standing Committees:

    • Acquisition & Collection Development
    • Bibliography
    • Cataloguing
    • Information Technology
    • Knowledge Management
    • Library Buildings and Equipment
    • Management and Marketing
    • New Media
    • Preservation and Conservation
    • Serials and Other Continuing Resources
    • Subject Analysis and Access  

    For more information or to apply, please complete the     Core IFLA Section Standing Committee Nomination Form by December 7, 2020.
