    The leadership team of the ASCLA Library Consultants Interest Group (LCIG) invites practicing library consultants, occasional consultant, those thinking about consulting, and those who have completed the Library Consultants Toolkit workshop to join the ALA Connect community for the ASCLA Library Consultants Interest Group-- http://connect.ala.org/node/151445 -- If you are not already a member, the JOIN button is in the right column. Join us if you are interested in activities such as:

    • ASCLA Library Consultants Code of Ethics
    • Conference Program: Essential Facilitation: Practical Tools for Guiding Groups, Monday, 10:30 a.m.-noon
    • Consultants Giving Back -- a cooperative initiative with PLA
    • Discussion Forums

    PARTICIPATE
    The leadership team invites members to join the leadership team and participate in the planning for even more relevant activities. The leadership team is small but energetic. Officers will be selected by an ALA Connect Poll rather than the ALA Election system. For 2012-2013, the team is looking for volunteer to serve as Chair Elect and who will then be Chair in 2013-2014. To volunteer or to ask for more information, contact current Chair Elect, Jeannette Smithee smithee@seflin.org by April 25

    The LCIG leadership team will also have openings for volunteer / appointed At-Large team members who will work with the LCIG officers. Contact Jeannette Smithee if you are interested on an appointed place on the leadership team.
