Apologies for cross-posting! I keep finding ALA/ACRL discussion boards that seem relevant to our survey and we are hoping to keep participation up so we can collect as much data as possible. In 2019, Joe Marciniak (Princeton University), Corey Halaychik (UT Austin) and I conducted a survey to learn more about the responsibilities of Technical Services in collection development. After reviewing and presenting the data that we collected, Joe Marciniak and I decided to revisit the survey with a few updated questions that allow us to look at some other possible trends. One new interest is the subject of how collection development and departments have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete, and summary results of the data will be sent to everyone who includes an email address.
