    Hi all,
[Apologies for duplication] In my new position as Head of Instruction, Engagement, & Assessment, I welcome you and yours to the Cal State Channel Islands Broome Library Black Scholars on Black Lives lecture series. Our next lecture is Wednesday at 10am PST with kYmberly Keeton, who will offer her lecture "Collective Relevance: Curating Black Art and History Through Independent Archival Practice." You can register for this and the other lectures in the series at go.csuci.edu/BlackScholars

The events are open to all.

Related...assessment of lecture series. We had wonderful turnout for our first lecture (153 registered, 89 attended and stayed the entire talk) and a good level of feedback response (42%). I'm sifting through what I can find in the literature, but what have been your most useful assessment questions you've asked in your programming, in terms of student needs as well as evidence to provide when asking for support from admin? I'm new to the "Assessment" part of my title, and am frantically reading, but would love to hear from you all informally.

    warmly,
    Colleen
