Hi Matt,
I completely understand the challenge! One metric we have started supplying toward Student Learning Outcomes is the number of suggested purchases we have received from students that we have fulfilled. Of course, that requires having a
Suggest a Purchase form and collecting requestor affiliation. We hadn't been doing that until just recently and it is gratifying to see and recognize the direct service to students.

Subject: Goals Development Question
Hello, all:
For the collection management/technical services office in which I work, I was challenged to come up with a few goals that will enhance student retention, completion, and graduation. We all know that library statistics are anonymized pretty well, so I am struggling with metrics that my colleagues and I can use. Did you ever face a similar question/challenge and be willing to share what you used to demonstrate your respective office/department/division impact on student success? Thanks for your time and, in advance, any replies.
Best,
