On Tuesday, March 17 at 1 pm ET, please join iREAL for Unleashing Your Power to Improve Your Library for Everyone, an exploration of power sources that library professionals can use to advance a common good.
Isabel Espinal and Mark A. Puente will facilitate a discussion that will lead to understanding and harnessing how explicit and hidden sources of power can position people to change organizational and social systems and effect substantive and sustainable change. In this interactive session, participants will identify and share strategies specific to the mission of libraries but that can extend beyond the walls of the organization or institution.
Advance registration is required. This is the second in a series of three introductory events for the Initiative for Reimagining Engagement in Academic Libraries (iREAL), a membership-based community for academic library workers committed to racial justice and organizational improvement.
