Charge: The composition and the duties of the Board of Directors are defined in Article IX of the ACRL Bylaws: Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall have general oversight and direction of the affairs of the Association. It shall conduct all business pertaining to the Association, and shall have authority to make decisions for the Association during the periods between meetings.

    Dear ACRL Board,

     

    The Board is invited to review the attached draft ACRL Board proceedings from its meetings for the 2023 ALA Annual Conference, 2023 Fall Board Virtual Meeting, and 2024 LibLearnX, and have discussion during the period of 4/5/2024–4/24/2024. Apologies for the delay in getting these to you while there are vacancies within ACRL.

     

    Board members should post comments using threaded discussion to provide feedback regarding the content. Board members can also email editorial corrections directly to me at apayne@ala.org.  The draft proceedings are posted as a Word document to allow the use of track changes if significant changes are needed.

     

    Following the discussion period, the Board will take action on the draft ACRL Board proceedings as part of the Consent Agenda at the upcoming April 25, 2024 ACRL Spring Board Virtual Meeting.
