The Social Responsibilities Round Table works to make ALA more democratic and to establish progressive priorities not only for the Association, but also for the entire profession. Concern for human and economic rights was an important element in the founding of SRRT and remains an urgent concern today. SRRT believes that libraries and librarians must recognize and help solve social problems and inequities in order to carry out their mandate to work for the common good and bolster democracy.

Thanks so much for the virtual option at the SRRT Action Council meetings at annual!  I thought the technology worked great at yesterday's meeting. When I set my Zoom view to "speaker" it almost felt like I was in the room with y'all! I hope it wasn't too complicated
    best,

I'm so glad everything came through clearly for the virtual attendees! Derek brought this cool microphone, and all sorts of other gear. Thank you, Derek!

    Thanks, Tara!

Luckily, the room had this cool tech called an Owl https://a.co/d/es7QKdl. It was far better than what I cobbled together.

We will be in a different room today, so let's hope the tech system is another owl.

    Sincerely,

    Derek
