The Social Responsibilities Round Table works to make ALA more democratic and to establish progressive priorities not only for the Association, but also for the entire profession. Concern for human and economic rights was an important element in the founding of SRRT and remains an urgent concern today. SRRT believes that libraries and librarians must recognize and help solve social problems and inequities in order to carry out their mandate to work for the common good and bolster democracy.

    Happy Wednesday all!

In case you didn't know, I'm a HUGE horror fan with a special place in my heart for The Walking Dead. I will be out of the office from Thursday, May 23rd - Tuesday, May 28th to attend a very busy Walking Dead event. During this time, I will have very limited access to respond to email. If you need something immediately, please contact Charles Krazt. I will check my email as I can, but may not respond until next week.
