SRRT (Social Responsibilities Round Table)

The Social Responsibilities Round Table works to make ALA more democratic and to establish progressive priorities not only for the Association, but also for the entire profession. Concern for human and economic rights was an important element in the founding of SRRT and remains an urgent concern today. SRRT believes that libraries and librarians must recognize and help solve social problems and inequities in order to carry out their mandate to work for the common good and bolster democracy.

    Hi,
I'm wondering if we will have a chance to hear from both candidates at a SRRT meeting? I think I saw something about Ray Pun coming to a meeting but don't remember anything about Sam Helmick - although I might have missed it.
    Thanks, Julie

In case you're interested, ABOS and ARSL hosted both candidates as well and here's a link to the recording: https://zoom.us/rec/play/RbRQOpXrgjzYwBbE2h_biYgp2SPRrtWon7FHwkLIgOTNsLtcXYqqONWLyhWfpCgb66aUb-5JOizsvgNw.JOC-iKMXEFvZsBb9?autoplay=true&startTime=1707843752000
