Hi, while I have been an ALA member since 2006, I have only been volunteering since 2017. I started at RUSA's Emerging Technologies Section (ETS) in a conversations taskforce, which led to creating an eForum about implementing, maintaining and evaluating virtual reference services.
From 2018-2020, I transitioned over to RUSA's Reference Services Section (RSS), and became a co-chair of the Virtual Reference Services Committee. In the committee, we created an eForum that was done in collaboration with the ETS' Managing Emerging Technology Committee focused on Virtual Reference and Emerging Technology topics. This eForum continued into a second year with the addition of the ETS' Hot Topics Committee in the collaboration, and more and different topics to discuss.
Currently, I am getting back into RUSA volunteering by participating in the RSS and ETS' eForum coordinating committee.
