Darnelle Melvin is the Special Collections and Archives Metadata Librarian and an Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he is the lead metadata and Semantic Web strategist responsible for managing metadata activities such as largescale remediation projects, metadata workflows, and metadata documentation. He is co-author of Linked Data for the Perplexed Librarian and researches metadata and resource discovery in digital libraries, ethical representation in public knowledge graphs, and data integration.
