Library Resource Management: Provide leadership and expertise in the procurement, assessment, and management of library print and electronic resources, including individual and package subscriptions, e-book demand driven acquisitions, and streaming services.
Collection Development: Management of Library print and e-Book collections. Selection of appropriate print and electronic resources to maintain collection relevancy and currency to all subject areas. Increasingly involved in assessment of library resources and their value to the library community. Perform data driven collection decisions to ensure library collection is meeting the evolving needs of our users.
Reference Librarian: Research assistance, selection of appropriate information tools and efficient searching of databases to effectively meet information needs.
Expertise in the Historical Archaeology of North America in particular Virginia, New England and New York. Focus on Field Work/Data Collection, Material Culture analysis and placing material culture within the larger global, historic perspective.
