Erin has been the Associate Dean for Research and Learning Services since April, 2018. Prior to her arrival at IU, Erin served as the Associate Dean, Research and Learning Division at the University of Kansas Libraries, where she had worked since 2005.
Erin holds an MLS degree from Emporia State University, and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas. She participated in the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Leadership Fellows Program (2016-2017), the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians and the assessment and teacher tracks of the Association of College and Research Libraries Information Literacy Immersion Program.
Erin’s research interests include organizational transformations, renewal, and structure and leadership in academic libraries. She has written and presented on these and other library-related topics. In addition, she is a consultant for organizational review and design. Erin is active in professional organizations, serving in a number of leadership roles within ACRL since joining in 2003.
