Ann Marie retired after 32 ½ years in teaching with 19 ½ years as a library media specialist. She worked part time for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards as a consultant, trainer and team leader for the library media assessment standards and at the University of Alabama as an adjunct professor in the School of Information and Library Studies. She worked as a presenter for Follett Software Company ; for Chilton County, Mobile City, and Marshall County Teacher In-Service in Alabama; for the Alabama State Department of Education "Increasing Student Achievement Through Technology;" for the University of Montevallo, University of Alabama and Auburn University Regional In-service Centers; for the University of Alabama School of Library and Information Services; and in her retirement trained staff at B. B. Comer Memorial Public Library.
