Andrea Kappler received her Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from Indiana University in 1991 and BA in English Literature and History from the University of Evansville in 1988. She was the Head of Technical Services at the Ohio Township Public Library from 1991-92 and has been the Cataloging Manager at the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library since 1992.
Andrea published the article “Dewey for Windows Evaluation” in Library Software Review in 1997. She co-edited New Supervisors in Technical Services: a Management Guide Using Checklists, published in 2007 by the Library Administration and Management Association. She served on numerous ALA committees from 1996-2009 and was a member of OCLC’s Decimal Classification Editorial Policy Committee from 2005-2017.
