I'm also very torn. I want libraries to be a welcoming place for everyone, but by doing so you can alienate many groups as well. I don't see an easy solution :/ Perhaps playing devil's advocate here, but the ALA Bill of Rights are just guidelines correct? Individual libraries are not bound to adhere ...
