On behalf of the ALA Council's Committee on Committees, ALA President-elect Emily Drabinski is very pleased to announce the following Councilors have been slated as candidates for the upcoming 2023 ALA Executive Board Election:
The first THREE (3) candidates receiving the highest number of votes will be elected to 3-year terms (2023-2026).
The Hybrid ALA Executive Board Candidates Forum will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023: 4:00-5:00 p.m. CT at LibLearnX in New Orleans. The forum gives Council members an opportunity to hear the views of the candidates and to ask questions of them prior to voting. Councilors will cast their vote electronically after the conclusion of the Executive Board Candidates Forum and election results will be reported virtually shortly after LibLearnX. Detailed bios of the candidates will be posted to the Council documents page, as well as directions and links for electronic voting forwarded, prior to the LibLearnX Council meetings. Please see previous Connect post with more information on LibLearnX Council meetings and registration links.
