Hello Councilors,

We are a month away from the 2024 LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience (LLX) in Baltimore, MD! 

I am pleased to share the DRAFT Council Agendas that are now posted here: https://www.ala.org/aboutala/virtual-llx-and-annual-conference-council-meetings-0 and attached to this message. Council documents will be posted starting the week of January 8^th.

Please note the meetings below are recommended or required:

ALA Governance Meetings during the Library Learning Experience (LibLearnX) Event

January 19-22, 2024, in Baltimore, MD

Friday, January 19

·        In-person only: ALA Governance Institute, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. ET (Council attendance encouraged)

o   If you are no longer able to attend the institute, please change your sign up by contacting alaregistration@csreg.zohodesk.com. This will allow a spot to become available for other interested attendees to participate. 

Saturday, January 20

·        Hybrid: ALA-APA Council Meeting, 3:00 - 3:45 p.m. ET (Council attendance required)

·        Hybrid: ALA Council Meeting, 3:45 - 5:00 p.m. ET (Council attendance required)

Sunday, January 21

·        Hybrid: ALA Council Meeting, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. ET (Council attendance required)

Reminder: All Councilors who plan to attend in person will need to register for LLX Full Access, while Councilors who plan to participate virtually should register for the LLX Digital Experience and register for the Zoom webinar. Councilors must register for LLX (digital or in-person) to receive their voting credentials. Eligible Councilors will receive a separate e-mail containing their voting credentials. Members who are not Councilors and wish to observe ALA governance meetings do not need to register for LLX, but need to register for the Zoom webinar.
