Social Networking for Librarians and Library Students

The mission of Social Networking for Librarians and Library Students is:

• To provide ALL library students as well as library school graduates with an opportunity to explore the nature of social networking for library professionals, especially in the current economic downturn.
• To ensure that all members of this community be able to freely discuss issues relating to Information & Library Science education, employment opportunities in traditional as well as non-traditional fields.
• To motivate and mentor such individuals to join social networking groups or create them where they are absent.
