ACRL Government Relations Committee

The legislative agenda was posted for Board vote on Friday, March 25, 2011 by Katie Coombes.  Our rough priority order of issues are:

1. Network Neutrality
2. First Sale/Licensing, Fair Use, and Anti-Circumvention
3. Section 215 of the USA PATRIOT Act
4. Government Information
5. Public Access to Federally Funded Research
6. Freedom of Information Act

The discussion period is 3/25-4/6 with a vote sometime between 4/7-4/14. 

I requested that the agenda be considered in time for an April release, in time for National Library Legislative Day, scheduled for May 9-10.
