Throughout my career, I have balanced my experiences in public services and management with my interest in technology. I have supervised student-workers, paraprofessional staff, and professional librarians, while overseeing, evaluating, assessing, and improving a variety of points of service including circulation and reference desks. I have designed web sites, conducted usability tests, and worked to bring streaming media to traditional video collections.
I have published in several library journals and am an experienced public speaker.
When not engaged with my library life, I spend time with my many hobbies including creative writing, photography, cooking, and graphic design. I am a published poet and fiction writer and am a longtime contributor of film reviews for Educational Media Reviews Online.
