The ACRL Virtual Worlds Interest hosts this session in collaboration with the Virtual Worlds Education Consortium at the VWMOOC23  (Virtual Worlds Massive Open Online Course 2023). Three communities co-sponsor the event: Octagon, Community Virtual Library, and Etopia.

The variety of uses for Symbolic Modeling are endless and two are demonstrated: Metaliteracy (changing literacy in the metaverse) and the Wetlands (sustainable ecosystems)
The SymMod process can be utilized for any subject area.
