Hi history librarians!
Let's make this thread a gathering place for all the webinars we're planning to pursue in the coming month - especially free ones that we'll find especially valuable as history librarians. I'll start:
Weds. 5/13, 1:00 PM CDT - HathiTrust 101 (description and registration) - I'm pretty familiar with HathiTrust, but a review and update never hurts. HT is one of my favorite places to search for needles in haystacks. I'm curious if they will talk about whether/how changes to Google Books are affecting their work, how they are combating AI-bot overwhelm, and how they identify books to seek permission to open up for full-view access.
