Charge: To support current and former residents to network, share their expertise, gain national leadership and service experience, and prepare for transitioning to post-residency positions through: a) advancing resident education and residents’ professional success through inter-collegiate collaboration; b) creating programming and resources that center residents; c) advocating for current residents through a liaison relationship with the ACRL Diversity Alliance; d) providing opportunities to engage in research on residencies; and e) centralizing information regarding program availability.

    Hi everyone,
    RIG is creating a new team! We are looking for volunteers for the Resident Show & Share/Conference Team (official name TBD). This team is being created for the purpose of giving residents the space to share about the projects they are working on or have completed (official charge TBD).
     
    This idea came from conversations among some current residents who feel that they are not getting support or acknowledgement of their work from their institutions. We want to give all residents the space to share work that they are proud of!
     
    We would appreciate volunteers who are current or former residents, as well as those who have conference planning experience. If you would like to volunteer for this new team please fill out the volunteer form.
