    Dear AAMESIG members,

     This is an urgent call for an incoming convener for the AAMES Interest Group for this current year - 2022-2023.
    The incoming convener will work with the Convener - Deepa Banerjee - to plan webinars and research forums of interest to the membership,  related to Asian, African and Middle Eastern research or other library topics. Your commitment to AAMESIG/ACRL will be as follows: 2022-2023 – Incoming convener; 2023-2024 – Convener; 2024-2025 – Past convener.

    Nearly all of our events have been held on Zoom/online forums especially after the pandemic, so you can gain professional experience and build your network without having to travel and attend conferences in-person.
    This is a great opportunity to develop leadership experience and we are here to support you if you don't have much prior experience convening forums.
