Hello HSIG Members!
I have just begun my tenure as the 2022-2023 HSIG Convener and along with Karen O'Grady (2022-2023 Incoming Convener), Anna Ferri (2022-2023 Past Convener) and the HSIG Executive Committee, am looking forward to engaging with you in trainings and other fun skill building activities in the months ahead. Please feel free to reach out to either of us if you have ideas to share.
I wanted to take a few moments to share ALA Connect processes that will go into effect on August 1. There are two that immediately come to mind: 1) Each member will be asked to read and sign the new Code of Conduct (everyone who logins from August 1st forward will be prompted to complete this process); and 2) Effective August 1, job postings can no longer be shared via this portal. ALA Connect has devised a new method for sharing job openings; more information will be shared next week.
Note: any job postings shared via traditional postings methods after July 31 will be removed. Please pass this information along to colleagues who may be impacted.
