    Dear Colleagues,
I trust this message finds you in good health. I am pleased to present a lesson plan centered on using subject headings for Black Studies research. This project was a collaborative effort between Erica Bruchko, Caterina Reed, and myself, and we were fortunate to have it reviewed by cataloguers associated with the African American Subject Funnel Project. Their feedback was invaluable in ensuring that we employed the most accurate and appropriate terminology when addressing subject headings with our students.
The lesson plan is accessible here: Understanding Subject Headings for Black Studies Research
I look forward to any questions or feedback you may wish to share.
    Sincerely,
Alessandra Otero Ramos (she, her, ella, elle)
