  • 1.  UAIG year end wrap up

    Posted Jun 14, 2022 12:25 PM
    Hello all,

We hope you all are doing well and have plans to take some time off and recharge after another challenging year. A month or so ago Maya and I put out a call for a virtual meeting of this group and we did not have a large response. We think this reflects how much we all need to take a breath and find ways to reconnect and restore ourselves within and outside our professional duties, hence we've made the decision to not have a formal get together this year. If anyone would like to share any of the accessibilty work you have going on or accessibility interests or questions to the group via Connect, that would be great!

I am sure many of you are doing meaningful accessibilty work in your libraries and as convener for this year I am excited to  connect and share my knowledge and experience in this area. Please join in me thanking Maya for all her hard work as she enters her time as the outgoing convener this year. I am also happy to welcome Anaya Jones, Accessibility & Online Learning Librarian at Northeastern University as incoming convener of UAIG.

If anyone is planning on attending ALA Annual in person this year, I am also attending and would be happy to connect!

    All our best,

    Trisha & Maya
