You are invited to participate in a research project entitled, Equitable Access for Blind, Visually Impaired, and Print-Disabled Students.  Please consider participating if you are an academic librarian.

The purpose of this study is to develop a Campus Accessibility Partnership Model for providing accessible content to Blind, Visually Impaired, and Print-Disabled (BVIPD) students enrolled in online and face-to-face courses. BVIPD students often experience inequitable access to information that manifests as delays or failure to receive course learning materials that are otherwise more readily available to non-BVIPD students. The Partnership Model will enable the collaboration between the Disability Services Office (DSO), university libraries, BVIPD students and instructors.

The study was approved by the Office of Research Compliance at the University of South Carolina in Columbia (USC).
