Dear Librarian,
We are academic library researchers investigating the management of work-related burnout in academic library technical services departments. We would be grateful if you could share your management experiences through a survey that should take no more than 20 minutes to complete.
For the purpose of this study, we are looking strictly for academic librarians who supervise technical services employees/units. Your participation will help us to better understand burnout in academic libraries and provide information that will lead to recommendations of best practices for library supervisors when it comes to recognizing and managing burnout in our libraries.
Your participation is both voluntary and anonymous. You may withdraw from the survey at any time without penalty. The data collected will remain anonymous and be protected through password restricted computers and accounts at The University of Akron and Harvard University. We are utilizing the Qualtrics survey software to collect data. The survey does not ask you any personally identifiable information and Qualtrics has been disabled from identifying features such as IP address collection and panel association. There is no formal compensation for participation.
To complete the survey, please use this link: https://akron.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_brspeA5fhdfmLVs
Interested participants should complete the survey by July 16th at 11:59 pm eastern time.
