The Kennesaw State University Library System would like to invite librarians and library staff members of academic institutions who consider themselves as "middle managers" to participate in a study examining the effects of 'middleness.' Middle managers might experience degrees of middleness-that is, the point along the continuum of middle power someone with supervisory responsibilities falls in their organization-and as a result often must use vertical code-switching to interact with those above and below in the organizational structure. Academic library middle managers who supervise at least one, non-student employee and are over the age of 18 and residing in the US or Canada are encouraged to participate.
