  • 1.  Survey Invitation: Help Shape the Future of AI Literacy in U.S. Libraries

    Posted Aug 11, 2025 09:30 AM

    Dear colleagues,

You are invited to participate in the third iteration of a national study on AI literacy in the U.S. library workforce.

The goal of this study is to understand how library workers across all sectors are experiencing, learning about, and working with AI, and to track how these experiences change over time. By adding your voice, you help create a national picture that can guide:

    • Professional development and training priorities
    • Resource allocation and funding decisions
    • Policy and best-practice recommendations for libraries of all types

    Eligibility:

    • Currently employed in any U.S. library
    • Age 18 or older

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and will be analyzed only in aggregate.

Your perspective is essential. Please share this invitation with colleagues so that library workers from all regions, roles, and library types are represented.

Thank you for helping inform the future of our profession.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Leo S Lo
